Here's the drill, reboot after installing Fritz8(F8), this will tell F8 to XP What has been installed and will show up next time F8 is fired up. When installing F8, just accept the default folder, don't customize. Customizing introduces problems. Hope this solves your problem. Have a nice day! :) Partner in chess, Alfred
