Subject: Fritz 8 in retail stores - Chessbase 8 compatible?

Is the Fritz 8 versions in retail stores the same as the version sold by
Chessbase?  It has a different box and doesn't mention compatibility (and is a
little cheaper).  Thanks for any info.
