Another good thing about these chips is they've already got the L5 bridge closed, which makes them SMP capable by default. All you have to do is cut/connect the bridges to get the multiplier you want in a dual board (or set the multiplier in the bios on a single cpu board), and there you go. Like I mentioned before though, if you don't know what you're doing do not bother. Especially for dual CPU setups. The new OPGA layouts and bridge configuration make modification MUCH harder. You won't have to modify the CPU w/ a good single cpu board however.
