And what would a thread on endgame databases be without some feedback from our friend Guy Haworth :) Thanks Guy, you are probably the only person I know of that is more of an endgame db junky than myself (and I worked on both a 253 ply win in checkers that other programs cannot win against the db, as well as the 535 ply win in Gothic Chess which will be published soon.) Thanks for your input Guy, I will check out the resources that you mentioned.
