I basically agree - here's a few comments.

The basic design of the GUI has been developed since Shredder 1, back in 1996;
so I'm not sure you can say that SMK has modeled his GUI on Fritz.  I actually
think that while Fritz's interface is quite good it's not fantastic and breaks
quite a few Windows standards which in turn makes it less intuative than it
should be.

I think this is probably a personal preference.  I prefer Shredder over Fritz
but it is a close call.  I like the relatively clean look of Shredder.

I agree - hopefully SMK will improve the database functionlity in the next
release.

True but I don't miss them
