I calculated e4 dxe4 Bxb2 dxc6 Bxa1 c3 and I did not like my trapped bishop at a1 so I decided to keep the pair of bishops and played Ne7 with the idea to take the pawn with the knight(the alternative c4 e4 dxe4 Bxb2 is bad for white). I later analyzed it with chess programs and I found that the decision if to play e4 is a positional decision but they are not afraid of c3 The problem is that the line e4 dxe4 Bxb2 Nd1 Bxa1 Qxa1 is evaluated as only small advantage for black or even advantage for white by part of the programs.
