Have you ever considered to replace Crafty16.19 by Crafty6.4??
It's a common known fact that the older versions were better.
Be shure to use ponder off. Your choice to use only a few egtbs is excellent.
I would recommand to play without a book as a book only hurts.
Don't forget to post your results to all those German fora as they deserve them.
This way you will be welcomed as a computer chess wizzard.
BTW it's proven that longer time controls doesn't change anything, so why
wasting time? Simply play 1 min games ahhmm 5 min games at most.
