Besides, most of the programs out there could kick the shit out of 90% of us anyways (even freeware). Anything over strong IM for me is overkill (perhaps not for professionals, but that is the minority of all the chess players). Maybe my interest is different than most here, a better tool to manage my games according to theme, good analysis functions, a little coaching and/or tutoring, and computer opponents with different and interesting styles. Basically, tools to improve my game. Simply having an opponent crush me faster is not enough for me....just my opinion, but I don't think solely 10% share it :)
