I re-downloaded the sse version, and i get less nodes per second on the bench test than the previous version with the egtb error. On my machine, a P3, 933, i got this on the previous version: Raw nodes per second: 479850 And the new version gives this on the bench test: Raw nodes per second: 471763 Any idea why this difference? I also re-downloaded Peter Skinners corrected version, and it is slightly faster (444305 nps) than his previous version (441967 nps). Regards Dave
