With a few new features expected: The move now key will be functional while using the "delay move" function. A random search depth command "rsd". "rsd 3 7" will randomly select a search depth ebwteen 3 and 7 ply. "rsd 3 7 6 12" will randomly select a search depth bewteen 3 and 7 ply dueing opening and 6 to 12 depth during endgame. The low search depth is often fine for opening and middle game, for the endgame it is often two week. A user could use : "rsd 3 7 0 0" limited search depths of 3 to 7 in the opening and middle game and unlimited search depth in endgame. Should be avery nice feature - it was suggested by a Crafty 19.SE user. Best, Michael PS - My computer is about halfway restored - but I made sure I got MSVC restored first. On a less positive note, I will no longer be able to offer a PGO version (AMD) for Crafty as I lost Intel 7 with my computer failure. My current Crafty 19.13 (no SE) is about 20% faster than Slater's SEE2 version and 5% faster than Skinner's on my specific P4 1.7 Ghz Xeon processor. YMMV.
