All I can say is, thank God for "sparring" and "friend" levels.) Ok, you do have a point yes the upgrades are free and it is very fun to play, but when I think of upgrade I think of strength more so than looks and in this regard this is a just not what I expected. I think that there are several areas of this program that can be improved in order to make it stronger. I like it's style and the fact that I can win a game every now and again, but in the interest of performance, I must respectfully request that Mr. lang just try to make improvements in it's playing. I think if running at the same speed I.E. 2ghz+ in a match with other modern programs, it would be at the bottom of the list. I hate to say this, but I fear it is true. BTW But if it makes anyone feel any better I just purchased a new wooden set from ICD and played my first game on it w/ chess genius @ 10mins/game and got crushed trying to win another draw! When will I ever learn :) >While on the subject of Palm chess software - I'm still waiting for Hiarcs for >Palm ... and waiting ... and waiting ... and waiting. What's up with that? Yess, I am still waiting aswell :( He must have a different definition of "coming soon!" than I do. Yep!! I think so >Mark
