If quantity is the only parameter, then Leo's great winboard tournaments are
superior to CCT. And especially since his tournaments are run on equal hardware,
you get a very accurate estimate of each program's strength.

Shredder and Fritz were not present in CCT. Junior played totally unprepared.
And Hiarcs running on an average one processor hardware managed to score the
same as Crafty on the fastest Opteron with 4 processors (or was it 8
processors?). Speaking for myself, Falcon ran on a P4 2.0GHz with a random
generated book (created the night before the tournament, for the Chess Partner
interface) which resulted in several lost positions from the book.
