My question is what is the speed of the fastest computer that I can get for movei for WCCC when the price is not more than x$ when 2000$>x$>1000$ I am interested both in dual and single processor options. I guess that I can get slower dual processor for movei for the same price but the advantage is that I can do better testing with pondering so if the difference in speed for movei is less than 20% then I am going to go for dual processor. When I look at some links of dell I get the following information: link A: 2.4ghz intel Xeon 1973$ http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?cs=555&oc=WS450DPAD&m_11=WXP1&c=us&l=en&s=biz link B:3.2Ghz intel 1157$+120$ http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?cs=555&oc=D4600CPAD&m_11=WHXP&m_22=MSONO&c=us&l=en&s=biz I have no idea which is faster and I have no idea how to get this information. I also know that the p4 is not good for chess and maybe AMD is the best option. Uri
