Deep Sjeng is a native UCI engine and does not care at all whether
it is running under CP or under a CB GUI. So if it runs under CP it
is already excluded that the problem lies with Deep Sjeng, since
they're exactly the same from the engine's point of view.

Some things to look for:

1) Did you install with the correct CD key? You must install
the entire program, just copying the EXE does not work.

2) Are you running any other engine (or program heavily using
the CPU) while you're trying to load Deep Sjeng? Sometimes this
causes the loading to go so slow that Fritz stops waiting for it.

3) Do you have a corrupted tablebase? Most programs will happily
play with wrong files/information, but Deep Sjeng will refuse to
load if this is the case. Try renaming your tablebase dir and see
if this solves the problem.

Does Deep Sjeng work under other UCI or WinBoard interfaces?
