But it takes a VERY deep search to see it. The final PV from The King that you show above is 23 plies long, but Eduard's main line is 37 plies long. I would guess that an engine would need to reach at least depth 40 to see that b5 wins from the initial position. Most engines know how to play this ending, though, as has been shown from several posts showing correct PVs. They just can see far enough ahead to know that they are going to win. jm
