You know, I definitely understand why you are annoyed.  After all, for the most
recent WCCC the ICGA has actually made a reasonable effort to make it easier for
Americans: putting it over July 4th which removes 1 vacation day, travel
stipend, a few days shorter etc.

Then you get a whole bunch of get-an-inch-and-take-a-mile Americans like me
complaining, and trolls like Matthew Hull flaming you.  That is the life of the
tournament organizer: you can never make everyone happy.

However, I'll make the following promise: if WCCC05 can be packed into 1 week
(meaning I leave on a saturday and get back on a sunday) I'll be there, barring
unforseen circumstances.  So you will at least have one American, if not anyone
of particular status.  Maybe I should write that VD Herik guy :)
