Maybe. I don't know. But I have experienced several endgames and late
middlegames where Shredder7.04/8 can't handle Rooks properly in Rooks+pawns
situations. Sometimes, it just has no idea whatsoever what to do. In those
cases, sometimes Fritz sees the light (knows what to do). Shredder8 seems to
have some kind of general weakness where Rooks are concerned, and occasionally
loses badly (drops a piece) for that reason.
