It may be true of course that when you make for-pay, then only the diehard will be here posting something "relevant". I say that is quotes because relevant is not easy to define. Personally I don't see anything irrelevant to CCC so far, except people like Sean Evans who we all know from his deeds in r.g.c.c. > >Moderation is the key. You are I differ on "strict" moderation :) Disruptive people making frivolous posts is one thing, but calling CM6k a toy is perfectly fine opinion in my view. The word toy was meant to coney "CM6k is not prefessional enough".. KK has done many reviews and even a newbie soon realizes what the words mean instead of being taken literally. > >Personal opinions on computer chess issues are fine, but not full insults, Like >CM6K is a toy because it lacks one feature, the same point could have been put >across without the use of the word toy which makes it degrading. Sorry cannot disagree more. Degrading?! Why are you so tied up with a piece of software. Even though I love the "other professional" level programs, I do not find any program degrading. All have a place, it was just a question of which place CM has. And it was a view expressed. Calling an opinion like that degrading is itself frivolous. > >Moderation is the key here, A point can be put across without throwing in a >little insult to add to the point, that is what lowers this place. As I said before, I would not want a hot-head as a moderator, and I am myself not a hot-head, so I appreciate that quality, among others.
