yes ...the latest viruses simply attack the ip addresses at random - no action required by the user (email / website visits) ...if you win2k/winxp, install the latest security updates ...that helped me a little - But iwas still getting 30-50 viruses a day (all were getting caught) this was after a major crash that might have been virus related - that all stopped after installing the Norton firewall (picked up "Norton security 2003" for $6 on ebay ) that stopped attacks and viruses right in their tracks - havenn't seen anthing since ...fyi, the security sfotware stops ALL popups - even some popup stopper missed , and notes on average some external program is probing my computer ports every few minutes ...welcome to the wild wild west...
