I use a router with built in firewall protection (it is actually SmoothWall*), as well as Sygate Personal Firewall. For an Anti-Virus program I use Symantec Anti-Virus 8.1.139, and I can honestly say I have seen _nothing_ lately. I have all the latest patches installed, and have a script that runs with the firewall that randomly opens and closes ports so kill off unwanted connections. Peter *Smoothwall - http://www.smoothwall.org It a linux firewall operating system of sorts. It requires very little hardware, and it is free. It is the perfect thing to put on that aging system you have collecting dust down in the basement :)
