I tried this with Chess Genius 2.1 for palm (tungsten T3). Of course, it has no infinite setting, so... it cuts the search whenever it wants. It gives 0.04 17 b5 Kxd5 axb4 cxb4 bxa4 Kc4 10127486 positions in 02:01 83698/sec Chess Tiger 15.1 for palm sees the move too (once again, evaluation is low): It sees it in 98 seconds (by 80 seconds it already has it marked with !, so you know it will get it when it gets to depth 13. P13 +0.18 b5 Kxd5 axb4 cxb4 bxa4 Kc4 Kd6 b5 a3 Kb3 Kc5 Kxa3 Kxb5 Kb3 Kc5 398840 pos in 180s I cut the search at 180s. Seeing the big computers trying this position and not geting it in 1 hour plus made me not even want to try. Chess Tiger for palm does not use arm native code yet, so it doesn't benefit from the hardware. Once it uses it, it should be around 20 times faster (chess genius is), so it should see it in the same time as genius, more or less.
