A couple of days ago, I downloaded Chess Tiger 15.2 for Palm. While playing with it the last 2 days, I just don't notice anything different about the interface, engine, graphics, piece sets, etc (over version 15.1). Just what did the "New!" update do? Is the engine stronger? Is the book better? I have a Palm M130 at 33mhz. Now, with the advent of Chess Genius and, shortly (hooray), Hiarcs for Palm with ARM support, I am itching to get a Palm ARM-based Tungsten. I've heard that Tiger will soon also be ARM-capable. After this, who will want to buy a dedicated machine, when we will have such powerful handhelds (with color graphics and no pieces to lose), and we already have such wonderfully strong software for our PCs.
