Your sytem will be ok for this program. Windows XP will run Fritz 8. Latest versions of DirectX are free here. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx The response time will give you a headache, no problem. dont worry about your boards, plenty of features available. let us know when you mate the program, of course post pgn. good luck kburcham
