Most motherboards come with a manual that has detailed instructions on hooking up components. Many places will also sell you a "bare bones" system that has a case, power supply, motherboard, and power supply. So you just need to add drives and memory. This is less work. If you are building from scratch it helps if you get a case like this one - http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-119-029&depa=0 - that has a platform you can screw the motherboard to and then just slide into the case .. saves you from having to work so much in a tight place. It is a little expensive but this case also looks cool .. Mounting the heatsink on the CPU can be a little tricky and require some force. I had an older AMD heat sink that so hard to get on I took the MB back to where I bought it and had them do it. But the last AMD box I built I had no problems. Caveat: I've been doing this for 20 years so it may seem easier to me than it would to you. --Jon
