Mine is C:\games\CM6000\users\torrie.ini. I read somewhere that the harddisk
would do some swapping as the hash got bigger but it never did on mine. Bravo
to you. Now I know why. All the times I have been playing has been with a hash
of 1 meg which is the default ttable_size=20 setting. I have 64 megs memory
which allows me to up the hash to 8 megs (ttable_size=23) without any swapping,
but after that there is major disk activity and if I set it at ttable_size=26
(64 megs) the disk swaps for close to 2+ minutes each time to rebuild the
tables. Thanks very much for pointing this out.
