It seemed to slow down the eval a little, but in 15min that isn't a big deal. I should have forced lines that would have made for a better test position. All I can say at this point is that it seemed to keep the position fairly open, but in doing so, perhaps spent less time attacking. It does, however, work quite well vs. humans. I began using this configuration at the end of April and very skilled anti-computer GMs like A. Rustemov and H. Mecking have had noticeably more difficulty creating blockades -- most notably with the French Defense (C18, C05, etc.) (For those that don't know -- Sinferno is the "scrappy" of Hiarcs [used mostly for testing vs. strong human competiton.]) -elc.
