I would play chess with GK 2100 sometimes 10 games a week.Sometimes no games
during the week.During this time I have only purchased three sets of
 batteries! A set of batteries = 6 x C cells.

I purchased this machine 2-Avril-98 and paid $337.00 Canadian
Processor speed is 10Mhz.Program memory is 32768 bytes Rom.Ram is 1024 bytes.
GK 2100 is very very tactical.I would play using level ply 1,2 & 3 and mostly
 loose.
This machine has many features and options but was much too strong.
 Especially tactically.

I now have the Excalibur GrandMaster and find it to be a really good
opponent for me. It lacks many features & options other dedicated machines
have. And it is weaker than the GK 2100.But the advantage with Exc. GM is the
auto-sensory tournament size board.Don't have any engine tech.info.
