Subject: Engine Parameters for various chess playing programs

Hello, I have the following chess playing programs that I use to play on my
computer account on USCL (Deep Fritz 8, Fritz 8, Hiarcs 9, Shredder 8, Ruffian
2.1 and Deep Sjeng 1.6. Is there a web location I can learn more about the chess
engine settings so I know what I am doing when I change them. Thanks :)
