I have posted before concerning the use of books in engine vs. engine matches. Basically, the book is human generated so for a good percentage of the game, the engine isn't really doing anything. Is there a way to create a "standard" book, of say no more than 20 moves, to be used in engine vs. engine matches, where each engine uses the same book? I think it would be more informative as to the strength of the engine and not the human book author. Steve
