I just ran the test again, right now, and it returned Mate in 11 with a time readout of 0:00 at a depth of 1 ply and 42 iterations, displayed as 42 1. In my original post I claimed 1 ply and 4 iterations, close, I remembered the 4, and less then 1 second which holds true. It's been 14 years since I ran the test, it was all memory. My machine is working fine, and my memory is almost as good;-) All the Best over the Memorial Day weekend! Regards, Daniel
