As it's clear from many posts Vincent did, he was the one who invented null-move, double null-move, hash tables SMP programming, NUMA programming and many search technologies. Sorry if I forgot other major inventions. Everything in Crafty is more or less wrong. That's why people prefer older Crafty versions as they contain less bugs. Diep is allready in same class with Fritz, Shredder, Junior and others. It's commercial. regards Bernhard
