I usually read based on topic and not author. However, there are some posts I'm almost guaranteed to click on unless it's deep in a thread I've become bored with, just because of the name. Bruce Moreland is definitely one, if you're reading through the old archives. Another name that doesn't post as often any more is KarinsDad. Dann Corbit, whose name I never spell right, always has something interesting to say. Also, in general, names that I recognize from the authors-only tournaments on ICC, I'm likely to read. There are others, I'm sure, but these guys in particular have contributed TONS to the computer chess community. My hat is off to them! Andrew
