He "could" but is it appropriate and etiquette? In this case, his posting in all
its glorious chessbase ugliness, is offensive to the readers.

The phrase "please refrain" means "to suggest". Do not pick apart a phrase and
just focus on the word "refrain" instead of the whole phrase "please refrain".

Anyway, the bottom line is that DO AGREE that the new CB pgn output is
abominable.

Sorry about associating you with Chessbase. That was too harsh on my part, but
then again you were harsh on people with 56K modems.
