>>LOL, also there is probably so many people out there, who are not nerds like us, >>who would just love a DOS chess program they have probably never heard of, i am >>pretty sure that when VD excluded the potential buyers of this forum, he pretty >>much lost his entire potential costumer base... > >Could you base on this supposition in what real fact? How do you know what the >Diep costumer base is just this Forum? > >Do you know what the population is on the earth? I am pretty sure we can agree that most of the entire population is not even aware that computers can even play chess, that leaves those who do and out of those only a very small percentage are into computer chess in such a way that they would actually buy any chess related software and out of those most will buy chessmaster and chessbase products, now out of those even familiar with the program Diep as a chess program from the people left, only a few would be interested in buying a DOS program since most run WinXP, linux or something different, that leaves hardcore chess program fanatics with enough knowledge of computer chess programs to even know of Diep, they would have to run Win98 or ME and not know Vincent well enough to actually want to buy his product and it is my conclusion that this potential costumer base mainly consists of readers of this and a few other forums, which he has already said he refuses to sell to because we are nerds. Now i base this on the above and the fact that i have come to learn over time that VD is not the nicest person (that is my view). Now what could you offer of info to prove me wrong? Jonas
