Is it possible for me to point a few things out without being taken as I am "lessening" Crafty's great result? Only small sidepoint I'd like to make is that Blargh uses Shredder 8 UCI with ChessPartner -- and obviously this does not provide for a native book. I will ask him which book was being used during those matches, but I'd imagine it is Sjeng.bk. I am not suggesting this configuration to be stronger or weaker than Shredder 8 "out of the box" in its native GUI -- just pointing out the differences before folks compare this experiment to SSDF results. Again, wonderful result for Crafty! -elc.
