Hello Chris,
I have done a lot of testing of Crafty with Remis adaptor. It works OK but will
score the games backwards sometimes. The problem with the adaptor is I could
not use the Shredder.ctg book opening with that adaptor. That's the reason I'm
using the Chessbase version. I've been testing Crafty for about 5 years now and
it has remained about 120-150 points behind the leading SSDF programs all that
time (at blitz). I usually don't test long time controls because SSDF does that
on equal hardware and I see no sense in me doing it too. I will stop at 10 games
but so far nothing surprising. After 7 games it's 5-2 favor Shredder.
