I too am hoping that hiarcs for palm can be dumbed down to 1900-2200 fide. I enjoy playing things around this level but I don't have any faith in standalone units doing this very well, not because they can't but because they wont! They don't care about quality only money and so they prey on the ignorance of the average consumer, (a very successful campain I must add). We are, a small minority after all.
