Hello Marcus,
The way I read the manual these settings are "Opponents". In other words the
"Opponent" setting at "Junior" is supposed to give the best results playing
against Junior etc.. So I'm wondering how you determined which is best.
Who/what were you playing Nimzo99 against to determine which is the best
setting? I would also like to mention that Playing games in Nimzo99 GUI using
the auto232 resets the "Opponent" setting to "Other" automatically thus
nullifying the whole idea. Nimzo has many problems other than this but the
implemention of the auto232 should be the most embarrasing since the author of
Nimzo99 is also the author of the auto232 system used in the Chessbase GUI's.
