Maybe, but consider this:

a) Most chess engines are good enough tactically that even when out of
book they wont fall for tactical traps unless they are _really_ deep.

b) They are still stupid enough that they will easily play into an
opening that is strategically lost for one side.

Now, strategical trap or tactical trap, the result is the same.
