As you can see from this result, Crafty was using an AMD XP2400+ with all the
conditions equal to my match except that I ran it on a mere 1.2 GHz. Crafty
benefit more than shredder 8 as the CPU processing power ========>

Jorge

I ran a match like Chris proposed initially. I used the Shredder 8 GUI for both
programs and the Shredder8.ctg book. Time control was 20/60' + 20/60' + 60'.
Match was run on 2 XP2400+ machines with auto232. I stopped at 12 games as my
original intention was only 10 games but an extra game was played while I slept
so I played another to even out the colors. Final score: Shredder 8 won by
7.5-4.5. Interesting is the fact that the last 7 games were all draws.
