Favourites for WCCC are most likely Shredder, Junior and Fritz. Then there are a few that will be a tough challenge if things go right for them - Crafty should definitely belong to this group. As you stated, there _were_ a few of the top professionals competing in the CCTs in the past, and Crafty was quite competitive. And if Crafty competes with a hardware advantage, which might or might not happen in Israel, this will serve to narrow down the gap even more. If Shredder is say 200 points ahead on equal hardware, it's easy to calculate with which hardware advantage this becomes more or less irrelevant. To say that Crafty has not much chance at all looks like a risky bet IMHO. Peter
