The adapter is called "wb2uci.exe". See my post here for further update. It appears Chessbase is sending a command that is converted to "new" by the adapter which the Arena GUI does not sent, hence no "new" command from Arena GUI. http://www.talkchess.com/forums/1/message.html?367962 Michael
