I should have been more specific. When I connect to the playchess client server and enter the serial number, it says the server connection is broken. When I search for viva-media it opens notepad with fritz settings only. When I look at the CD Rom, the options are play Fritz or install.I reinstalled it but the viva-media folder was still missing.I sent a message to mail@viva-media.com and disabled the firewall and anti-virus as they suggested but it did not help. They told me to look at program files, viva media, and fritz 8,and said the read me file should be there. The problem is that I do not have a viva media folder. I sent follow-up messages to them but have not gotten a reply. How do I get info when I go to chessbase.com? All I see are Steve Lopez's columns. Angelo
