Sad to hear. I know the thing can run under W2000, here is a last tip, make sure
the following lines are in your CONFIG.SYS file.

DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\setver.exe
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS NOVCPI /FRAME=E000
DOS=HIGH,UMB
files = 50

And secondly, run Rebel from a shortcut by all means, thus not via the DOS
prompt.

My best,

Ed
