Crafty doesn't need the file books.bin to use its book, I thought you were
simply curious about the error message. books.bin just adapts probabilities for
some moves - you can look at its content if you download start.pgn.gz .

When it is about the folder name, this is most probably a problem related to the
GUI you used and no issue with Crafty itself.
