Subject: Upgrade Excalibur Grand Master pieces?

Hi all,

I don't have the GrandMaster computer game yet, but for those who know about it,
here is my inquiry: Is it possible to later upgrade the pieces with replacement
pieces not specifically designed for computer chess? Or do only certain special
kinds of pieces operate the GrandMaster board? (This computer uses 2"
squares)...
