hi Dan
i decided to test all of the Fidelity Excel Mach computer's...

Excel 68000(Mach 1)-model 6094...after 10 minutes of thinking it still could not
find it..it returned a -7.83 score ,searched to a depth of 2 7 and came up with
the loser..f1-g2

Excel Mach II LA-model 6097...still a no go,however after 10 minutes it did
manage a deeper search ..depth of 37 7, same klunker f1-g2 same -7.83 score

Excel Mach III-model 6098-as soon as i pressed the move button..as my hand was
drawing away from the unit..it found Q-F4+..announced the mate in 11..and lit up
the check light...all with a clock time showing....0 seconds
just as you said it would..I guess the extra 4 Mhz(12-16) made a difference
:))

Excel Mach IV-model 6110..a 68020 32 bit processor running at 20 Mhz..just as I
said it would, the computer found the mate a micro second BEFORE i pressed the
move button..so we get a -1 second solve time..
j/k ..obviously the same exact result as the Mach III

Best..Steve
