Here we go again. Another heated and very emotional argument of CM 6000. It seems that this will never end. To all CM 6000, CM 5500, and any other CM engines aficionados, let me give you all some words of wisdom, STOP THINKING WITH YOUR EMOTIONS, TO A MAN MEAT TO OTHERS POISON. So if you think you're correct in your views, good. However, if others think otherwise, good. You CM aficionados cannot expect all chessplayer's share your views. And this argument has become very childish, and it is turning into a match of fist fights of words. So where is this going to take us, neither side can benefit from this. I find KK expertise in chess computer very good, and his opinions has merit because he is trying to look the chess engines from a different point of view than you CM devotees are looking at. Because of these two different perspectives it will of course create problems. Think a chess position as light. It is invisible to the naked eye, yet it is composed of 7 colors which can be filtered out using a prism. Think of the prism as a chess engine, it will see the chess position from a different angle because it is not universal. So instead of attacking KK personal ability as a chess player, you CM aficionados should prove your opinions by providing proof to support your arguments. Don't just write opinions or mere words, show some prove to demonstrate that your argument stands. And the only proof you can provide is using chess positions. Because we are talking about computer chess, and chess alone, not personal bias towards a chess engine. As chessplayers we all have different styles of playing, some prefer the a dashing attack, others a counter attack style of playing, some prefer a positional game of accumulating small advantages to be exploited in the endgame, some prefer a dynamic double edged game which can favour either side. Would you as chessplayer say that such and such style is superior to the others? Guess not. So the same principle applies to all chess engines, they come in different flavours, and you cannot expect everyone to love chocolate, I for one am not very fond of chocolate. And if you ever tasted real chocolate, you will know why. It is bitter, very bitter, of course if you add lots of sugar it is not the same chocolate anymore. People eat chocolate because they crave sugar, not chocolate. So please give this matter a rest, and next time provide proof with your arguments and opinions, not empty words, and that applies to all chess engines.
