Steve; You must be refering to the Sprakens. I still have an old, old Fidelity Chess Challenger 7. Those magnetic pieces don't register on the GM. I just recently began playing once a week with the local club's weakest players. Never been rated. Never studied until just now. Because the game can very easily overwhelm an enthusiast, I have strickly stayed with the stonewall patterns as white and the dragon variations as black. Amazing game to say the least. Don
