the programmer for all Excalibur chess  computers is the one and only Ron Nelson
who was the inventor of the very first dedicated chess computer the Fidelity
Chess Challenger-1977

well i guess they are too small
those pieces wont really fit with the larger GM board anyway..
i used several magnetic sets with the GM and even though the magnets might be
smaller the pieces i were large enough to fit the board
